It’s not often you see a tea store that releases a collection of teas every season, much like a fashion line. But Davids Tea is bringing an old tradition to the North American market in a whole fashionably new way. With the recent release of their 2011 Resolution Collection, we had to share our favourite tea store with you.
You know we’re serious when our very own Nicole Holness has about 10 tins of these sitting at home…
But with over 100 types of loose-leaf tea’s to choose from, it’s sometimes hard to know where to even start. So we’ve rounded it down to our Top 6 Fav Blends:
Forever Nuts:
This tea is crazy awesome. It’s got almonds slices, apples, cinnamon and beat root in it so when you steep it, it turns a bright pink colour. Just try a cup of this one and you’ll be addicted. Trust.
Jessie’s Tea:
There is nothing quite like the soothing taste of Coconut and Lavender before bed. This antioxidant rich rooibos tea is not only caffeine-free, but has an awesome back story involving a country singer named Jessie Farrell.
Green and Fruity:
Mangos, papayas, peaches and apples. This tea is amazing hot or iced and tastes even better when you add a little agave to it. Oh and did we mention how great Rooibos tea is for your skin? You’re welcome.
Luscious Watermelon:
This watermelon tea from their summer collection is ‘stellarrrrr’ according to Nicole. We really hope they bring this one and Xanadu back this year! (we’re looking at you David).
Caramel Pear:
Apple, marigold, pear and caramel all blended into a delicious dessert tea chock full of antioxidants. Yup, I think we’ve determined that Rooibos is the new cool.
Gail’s Organic Cold Remedy:
This green tea is the perfect blend of lemon and ginger, and is the best way to fight that awful cold that comes with winter. Say goodbye to sore throats and runny noses and embrace this soothing cup of tea between your hands next time you’re feeling sick.
