Designer Matt Robinson of Klaxon Howl made quite a statement on the last day of the LGFW this past Friday. Samuel L. Jackson was photographed backstage wearing a coat designed by the talented men’s designer which caused a frenzy all over the internet. So much so that The Hudson’s Bay Company threw a photo shoot to highlight the coat and the many other beautiful Klaxon Howl pieces that used the iconic Bay blankets as the main material in his Fall 2011 runway show. We were invited to shoot the behind the scenes at Toronto’s LIGHT & HEVVY studio where we were able to grab a quick interview with Matt Robinson that can be seen in the video above.
The Klaxon Howl pieces that were the main focus:
Klaxon Howl Hudson’s Bay Grey 8 Point Vest
Klaxon Howl Hudson’s Bay Grey 8 Point Jacket
Klaxon Howl Hudson’s Bay Backpack and Duffle Bag.
