If you don’t know about Anna Dello Russo and Tommy Ton… well, you’re really missing out.
We had a chance to sit down with Anna and Tommy last week at The Room, in celebration of “When Tommy Met Anna” – a photo exhibit of the Jak & Jil photographer’s work surrounding the high-fashion muse / editor of Vogue Nippon.
Tommy Ton’s chronicling of Anna Dello Russo’s quirky, eye-catching style, has been an important factor in ADR’s rise to fashion-sphere fame. The blog world has been crucial to Anna’s worldwide recognition, and Anna is appreciative of the fact – at one point refusing to cut short her interviews with the bloggers, claiming that the ‘young people’ are most important and worthy of her time.
Anna, in true ADR fashion, answered questions candidly and honestly, even admitting to getting jealous of Tommy’s attention paid to other fashion editors.
