WHY ARE LASH EXTENSIONS BETTER THAN FALSIES?

Eyelash extensions are better than disposable falsies because they last longer, and will not irritate your eyes if applied properly by an experienced eyelash technician.

Many people who wear disposable faslies daily, find that their eyelids will build a latex allergy from the daily strip lash glue. If you wear disposable strip lashes daily for an extended period of weeks, months or years; you will notice your eyelids becomng dry and flaky. This makes it difficult to have a clean smooth eyelid to apply make up on. Eyelash extensions on the other hand are glued 1-2mm away from the skin on your lash follicle. This gives your lashes the seamless and weightless feeling. If properly applied you should not have a reaction from the eyelash extensions.

ARE THERE ANY DANGERS OF LASH EXTENSIONS?

There are many eyelash products on the market, not all of them are safe. Some are too strong and have fumes that linger for days that can irritate your eyes. At Fembotika, we use slow drying flexible bond adhesive produced in FDA facilities in USA.

WHY SHOULD YOU AVOID CHEAPING OUT ON EXTENSIONS?

At the end of the day we think we get what we pay for. Most of the time it is true, however that is not always the case. Speak to your eyelash technician and have him/her educate you on your lash health and safe eyelash extension practice. Interview your eyelash technician as if you were to interview your first doctor. We take healthy applications very seriously and will turn away clients who are not suitable for lash extensions.

HOW LONG DO THE LASHES LAST?

Eyelash extensions can last anywhere from 2-6 weeks depending on how you take care of them, how many are applied, your lash health, skin condition, and life style. On average Fembotika iLash Bar clients come back for a refill every 4 weeks.

WHAT SHOULDN’T YOU DO WITH THE LASHES ON?

- No water on lashes for the first 24 hours.

- Try to avoid steam if possible.

- No waterproof make up.

- No oil base make up removers.

- No rubbing on eyes.

- Do not curl your lashes, it can ruin your natural lashes. (we can design your lashes to your desired curl upon consultation.)

- DO brush your lashes from time to time or daily.

- DO change your cleanser to a gel cleanser.

- DO cleanse your face gently, preferably with a wash cloth.

- DO use a water based mascara the week before your refill if you must blend in your natural lashes with your extensions if your waiting for your refill appointment.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE AN INFECTION FROM A PREVIOUS SALON. CAN YOU HELP ME?
