In an ideal world, a weekly/daily/hourly shoe budget would be allotted so every single person in the entire universe could fulfill their every shoe desire. Unfortunately, free shoe money will only exist by some sort of sweet, sweet miracle so we’ve decided to bring to your attention the inanimate objects that will arguably solve all your problems…without breaking the bank. Add some ~pizazz~ to your feet, temporarily remedy your #firstworldproblems, and fool your peers into thinking you own a lot of really cool shoes with our foot’s new BFF – socks!
No longer will we have to stare unimpressed at our meager 100-pair shoe collection before leaving our houses in the morning, forever despairing at the plethora of practical (aka NOT FUN) shoes we own. Nor will we have to change our outfits because less-than-suitable footwear options impair the overall fun-ness of our pants. And we will definitely no longer have to surf Net-a-Porter’s shoe section with tears streaming down our faces like rivers!!!!
If you’re not quite convinced that socks are the answer to your footwear woes, outlined below are the sock categories. Feel free to interpret however you may please, but make sure to take them very seriously.
“I am so trendy” neon socks:

When you can’t afford to buy a super-OMG ~neon~ Cambridge Satchel, neon socks have the potential to fill the voids of your empty heart. Do not cry.

“I like animals” socks:

Nothing better than wearing pictures of your favourite animal on your feet! A cheap and humane alternative to wearing your favourite animal on your body! Yeah!

“I’m wearing knee high boots but not” socks:

Pseudo-elongate your shoes with matching opaque socks that give you the illusion of having mile-long legs. Or you know, buy shoes with pseudo-socks built in already. Fierce.

“I am a walking fashion faux-pas but not” socks:

Socks and sandals might be frowned upon, but we love /fashion rebellion/. Ever wish your open-toed shoes were closed-toed? Bam. Told you we’ve got the solution.

“I am a cute Lolita girl” socks:

Nothing like a pair of platform boots and some frilly socks for ultimate outfit juxtaposition.
