Since before they could walk, Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen have been famous. They were (almost) literally born that way. For 26 years, the two have shared the spotlight, in television shows, made for television movies, red carpet appearances, et al. There’s no denying they’ve grown up to be a fashionable pair – despite some not-so-savoury bumps along the way. Let’s take a look at the style evolution of the Olsen twins.

2004: The Olsens receive their Hollywood Walk Of Fame; dark (emaciated) times ensue for Mary Kate.
MK seemingly cleans up, and the two touch down in Toronto.
The two continue to refine their individual styles from 2007, onward…
… Cementing their reputations as heavy hitting authorities in the fashion world.
Making the rounds at fashion shows, repping their own line Elizabeth & James and The Row, and winning the CDFA award for Designer of the Year.
But some things never change.
