Big cities come with even bigger art pieces. Some commissioned, some have the law on their tail. Each of these amaze-walls is here for the viewing, best seen while strolling around aimlessly. There is no shortage of visual stimulation on the streets of NYC. And the best part is they’re here for perms. Well unless of course they are covered up with something else more beautiful. Here are some walls that I thought were worthy of a photo-op.

A tank clad dude shows his true colours at AGENDA on Mercer St.

Somewhere on Bond St. A dance of love between so-creepy-they’re-cute mummy creatures. Tim Burton?

This cat is everywhere. Meow.

Like that episode of The Simpsons, when a school ill-informed-ly paints their wall “a beautiful sky blue” – just then a plane crashed into it. I thought this was hilariously similar. Plane crashing not such a good look for convo here in NYC.

This wall is always commissioned by a dude who owns the building and a bunch of other buildings. Some call it The Bowery Mural. (Bowery St/Houston).

More art on Mercer St.

Come on. This building is ALIVE!

Sometimes, bigger isnt always better. Here is a simple, amazing message.

A wall to advertise a pop-up shop for a retail store becomes art on its own with punchy letters and amazing contrast.

This is from an artist that I should be familiar with but the name has escaped me. Any one recognize it?

A collage of sorts..

Cutest graffitti boy ever? Lots of love for Lanvin!

Lady Aiko for the mural on Bowery. Probably my fave amaze wall.
Look ma, no Banksy!
