Last week’s tutorial was based off one of my favourite pair Charlotte Olympia shoes. Not only did she see the tutorial, but she tweeted me back & challenged me to more. So, I obviously had to take her up on the challenge! This week’s Humpday Nail Art tutorial is based off the Anastasia shoe & Babushka purse – featuring an adorable Matryoshka doll!
Begin by painting all of your nails a bright red except your accent finger. Paint your accent finger a solid yellow then create a Ruffian (reverse French tip) design using a pale beige shade.
Start painting the easier parts of the face. Line the top of the beige with black for the hair. For the mouth, paint a heart shape and extend the sides. Use a dotting tool for the rosey cheeks.
Step 3 – a.k.a. the most difficult step. You can paint the eyes with a nail art pen if you are more comfortable, I decided to go for it with a very small nail art brush.
Don’t forget to seal in all your hardwork with a top coat!
