You may not have tickets for this year’s TIFF premieres – but that doesn’t mean you should miss the opportunity to catch a glimpse of some of Hollywood’s elite. Toronto is the place to be during the film festival, and for all you crazed fans out there, here is the low-down of where the celebs will be hanging out this weekend. You’re welcome.
THURSDAY
As the festival kicks off Thursday September 6th, loiter around The Elgin Theatre for the opening of Looper to spot cast members Emily Blunt and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The film starts at 6:30 so be sure to get there early for the chance to yell marriage proposals in Gordon-Levitt’s ear, and actually have him hear you.
FRIDAY
On Friday head over to The Princess of Wales Theatre for an opportunity to see Canadian hottie Ryan Gosling open his new film (that sounds an awful lot like Drive…) The Place Beyond The Pines at 6 pm. If you’re in an especially stalker-ish mood, lace up your sneakers and run over to Roy Thompson Hall for the 6:30 premiere of Ben Affleck’s film Argo.
SATURDAY
Still haven’t gotten enough? Spend Saturday outside Ryerson Theatre on the lookout for Johnny Depp attending West of Memphis at 2:30 pm.
