I’ve had a healthy dose of teasing when it comes to how often I swap my phone cases – it’s true, I treat my iPhone like a loveable pet. Wardrobe changes and vinyl changes are the norm, and my wandering eye is always looking for the next decal, silicone wrap, and hardcase to deck out my beloved device. Here are a few that I’ve fawned over as of late:
Killer Duck Decals – Pocky iPhone Skin
It’s the ever-iconic Pocky box. Chocolate biscuit sticks that stole our hearts and give us that sense of nostalgia that hits you like a wall and stays over for a while. Killer Duck Decals offers up a collective of iPhone skins that will grant you uncontrollable grins (think mustaches and vintage video games). Watch out for those air pockets though, apply with a steady hand and get ready to swipe your credit card over the whole thing.
Function first – especially when you’re an insufferable Tweeter and addict to everything apps. It’s a case that doubles the life of your battery on the go, and resembles something of an anvil (sorry to say but true. All is forgiven as it works brilliantly). This two toned little wonder is able to fit the 4 and 4S just fine (sorry 5-ers, they’re on their way I’m sure). Also have a gander at the wallet version, perfect for tossing into a clutch before heading out for a night of too much fun. Snakeskin? Yes, may I have another!
Toki Doki Skin
Bright patterns and the perfect print – Toki Doki is known for their whimsical and edgy design style. This particular one is a fun black and white bit with pops of red throughout. A simple (non-protective) layer for your phone (so if you’re the type to drop it on concrete and rock… well, you know what to do), it’s a slim way to style your dialing device.
See Jane Work Tech Candy iPhone Case – Barcelona
The most original case I’ve seen in awhile – it’s a silicone protective wrap that comes in two colours for your case, and a hard shell layered over it (fitted perfected) with an elaborate design. See Jane Work has a full line of items for technology mavens on the go, and this is one of the key stand out products. The silicone makes the wrap easy to take off / move (for those photos with flash at night – you’ll need to maneuver quickly). It boasts non-fading, non-scratching, and no cracks (mmm hmm, take it from the girl that cracked her last three cases). Comes in several designs, with grey, black, and brown backings.
