Surely, you’re dying to know about all the celebrity/designer collaborations you get to look forward to in the upcoming year. Well, you’re in for a reeeeeal treat. Here’s what to expect:
Adele & Burberry

Christopher Bailey, creative chief of Burberry, has reportedly requested Miss Adele to represent Burberry’s plus-size brand. Rumour has it that Adele has visited the Burberry studio to talk about the collaboration. Who else would fit the role of Burberry ambassador other than Adele? If there’s one other thing we need to appreciate about Adele, it’s her beautiful curves.
Carly Ray Jepsen & Wet Seal

Start planning your trip across the border ladies – our fave Canadian singer Carly Ray is designing for American brand, Wet Seal. Carly has been working with the womenswear brand on their upcoming fall/winter collection, incorporating her colourful and playful personality to clothing line. Wet Seal has also been planning contests for fans and customers, for a chance to win shopping sprees with Carly, and tickets to go to her concert… as well as, a phone call from Carly (seriously).
Rihanna & River Island

Riri is set to design an exclusive line for River Island for Spring 2013. Chief executive of River Island shares that he’s always considered Rihanna as a style icon, and the new collection is predicted to take inspiration from Riri’s “street to chic” swag (fashion).
Beiber & Elizabeth Arden

Elizabeth Arden has recently bought Justin Bieber’s fragrance line. The VP and marketing officer of Arden, Kim Widmer, mentioned that she’s had an eye on the Biebs’ success with the fragrance, with its sales amounting to $39 million a year. With this partnership, maybe Bieber will collaborate with Arden to release a fragrance for the cougars?
Brooke Shields & Foster Grant Eyewear
Brooke Shields has been signed as Foster Grant Eyewear’s new leading lady. The brand describes Shields as having a “wide-rage appeal, and natural beauty.” Sheilds works perfectly with the brand as she represents their history of models being some of the most respected names in Hollywood.
Cam Newton & Belk

Football star, Cam Newton, is collaborating with department store retailer Belk. NFL’s Carolina Panther’s quarterback is expected to release a private menswear collection next spring. This line is set to feature in 133 stores, with an accessories line for men already in the works for autumn.
Katie Holmes & Bobbi Brown

When it finally came time to choose a model for Bobbi Brown’s Spring 2013 cosmetics collection, Katie Holmes was first on Brown’s list. Describing Holmes as a “natural beauty” and “natural fit” for the brand, Holmes will be the first ever celebrity face to appear in a Bobbi Brown advertisement.
Jennifer Lawrence & Dior

If you j’adore Jennier Lawrence, then you’ll love this collaboration. Hunger Games’ starlet has just been confirmed as Miss Dior’s new face for Spring 2013. This will be Jennifer’s first ever, top-notch designer collaboration in her career, following the trail left behind by the biggest, most beautiful names in Hollywood – including Marion Cotillard, Charlize Theron, and Natalie Portman.
Emma Watson & Erdem

At 22 years old, Emma Watson has already managed to successfully act in an 8-part film, model for Burberry, release a clothing line with Alberta Ferretti, and be the face of Lancome. And in a recent interview, Emma mentions she would just looove to collaborate with Erdem, and be featured in a campaign. With a net worth of $72 million, it’s quite obvious Emma gets what she wants – we’ll just have to see if Erdem approves.
