How To Be: Your Favourite Epic Camp Movie Character

It’s Boobyball time! On October 12th in Toronto, and the 25th in Calgary – Canada’s most beautiful and boob-conscious philanthropists and party-goers will gather in support of Rethink Breast Cancer. Last year, Boobyball celebrated their 10th birthday with champagne and candy and lots of cake. This year, Boobyball is going to camp! Have you planned your camp-themed ensemble for the evening? If you’re clueless about (cute) camp gear, or simply indecisive, perhaps you need inspiration from the kids who introduced ~swagerrific~ camp wear in the movies we all know and love.

Susan & Sharon McKendrick from The (Original) Parent Trap

Here is how you pull of your boyfriend’s little boys’ clothes. White-collared shirt, loosely-worn tie, khaki shorts, and a pair of Red Wing boots. You should also consider using hot rollers to curl your bangs.

Lindsay Lohan x2 from The (Other) Parent Trap

It’s hard to believe that Lindsay Lohan was ever this cute, but we love her in this tomboy camp attire in The Parent Trap. Just grab your old flannel, a jean jacket, mid-length shorts, and wrap a bandana around your neck to top off your look.

Wednesday from The Addams Family Values

The tribal / bohemian/ hippie look is always a top choice on the list – but we’re not suggesting to go for the Vanessa-Hudgens-Coachella-disaster-look, we’re leaning more towards the lovely Wednesday, from the Addams family. A cozy, tribal-print poncho, or a fringe dress is suitable. No maxi-skirts and fringe vests, but dream-catcher earrings, feather or beaded headpieces are acceptable.

According to McKinley from Wet Hot American Summer, camping should always be comfortable… and a little sexy – which is attainable by, obviously, wearing gym gear to camp.

Suzy from Moonrise Kingdom

Here’s a look for the super feminine, super chic campers. Lana Del Rey Suzy from Moonrise Kingdom is the ultimate fashion go-to girl if you’re looking to impress the boys. Grab your favourite A-line skirt or dress, and pair it with a white-collared shirt underneath. You can also try this look with lace-up boots to tone down the femininity a little. (Bonus: head over here to really ~complete the look~)

If you’re not heading to Boobyball, let this serve as Halloween Costume Inspiration. It’s never too early to plan that stuff, you know? If you are heading to Boobyball:

TORONTO: See you Friday!

CALGARY: You can still getchyo tickets right here!
