We introduced you to the Naked Palette 2, and now we have two follow up tutorials for you to try with your new palette (because we know you rushed the stores as soon as it came out). See Aliya-Jasmine rock our two Urban Decay eye makeup looks:
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
The Urban Decay Naked 2 (it comes with a double ended brush)
Thin Angle Brush
Eye Primer
Cotton Swabs
Oil Free Makeup Remover (incase you make any mistakes)
Shadow Sheilds (optional) these sticky shadow guards keep your cheeks clean when you do smokey eyes and give a clean cat eye with almost no effort
LOOK 1: DAY
1 Prime the eye with the primer of your choice and with a round brush swipe “Tease” in the crease ending in a point at the outer corner of the eye
2/3 On the centre of the lid Swipe “YDK” just below the crease and blend with a flat shader brush
4 Place “Pistol” In the tear ducts with a small pencil brush or cotton swab
5 Line the top lash line (here shown in a cat eye’d point) and bring down on the bottom lashes for a more dramatic effect
6 And there you have it!
LOOK 2: NIGHT
The only extra thing you’ll need is a black kohl liner, we used Urban Decay’s “Zero”
1 Prime the eye and swipe a neutral shade in the crease to help with blendability
2 Apply shadow shields (optional) and smudge your kohl liner all over the lid up to the crease
3 Pop “Blackout” shadow over your kohl base and blend the edges out
4 With an angle brush bring “Blackout” down underneath and bring “Pistol” into the tear duct
5 Blend “Chopper” into the crease right above “Blackout”
6 Enjoy your gorgeous night time smokey look!
