Rihanna Graces the Cover of Vogue for the Third Time in Four Years
Just in time for her 26th birthday, Vogue released its March cover featuring a sexy, youthful RiRi clad in sequins and leather. Rocking a pixie cut and au-naturel makeup Rihanna leaves glamour behind (for now) and shows that she more than comfortable in her own skin, not that we had much doubt that she was before (See her racy instagram photos). Though she claims to want to be 25 forever she has never looked so hot!
Want to be Bad Gal RiRi? We’ve got you covered.
Nimmo And The Gauntletts Release New Single and Video
Just three singles deep, Nimmo and the Gauntletts have already gathered plenty of anticipation for their upcoming album Jaded, to be released on March 24th. Sarah Nimmo and Reva Gauntlett formed the London-based band, who told The Guardian they have been best friends since they were kids. Their androgynous style, riveting electropop beats and lyrics that make you say want to belt out passionately in the shower, make them the perfect girl crushes.
From their single “Change”: “I hate to call you stupid/ but babe you’ve been diluted/ if you thought that I would/ If you thought I would change.”
Stay in the mood with this playlist!
It is no wonder why Agyness Deyn demanded to shoot their video for “Change”.
Speaking of Agyness..
Agyness Deyn Set to Reveal Title A
Even after her retirement from the catwalk Agyness Deyn continues to be a fashion icon, with many fashion admirers still documenting her every move. I, myself am guilty of this; she has always been one of my favourite muses. It only seems natural then that Agyness started her own design label Title A that is to be showcased in March!
If you are obsessed with her Doc Martens campaigns (and everything else she does) as much as I am, check out this step-by-step guide to embracing our inner Agy.
R.I.P. Maggie Estep
Her cynical spoken-word poetry was emblematic of popular ’90s feminist rage. Her wit and take-no-bullsh*t approach resulted in her prominence during a time when grunge was at its peak and poetry was the primary vehicle of expression. Her spoken track “Hey Baby” was played on repeat on MTV in the ’90s, so I think it is only fair if we all take a moment to remember this bada** woman.
Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez Confirm they are dating
Or at least CocoPerez says so! And we wouldn’t have it any other way. Cara and the Fast and the Furious actress make a damn fine couple.
