My newest obsession started a few weeks ago when one of my favorite outfit bloggers Giuliano (who might I add is suuuuuch a hidden gem, check him out) uploaded this photo on his blog. I mean, come on. Has there ever been a more perfectly styled outfit in the history of mankind? I’m thinking no. That was it. I needed some slither in my life, too.
My search started on eBay with not many good finds. I did manage to find myself a new cellphone case for under $10 bucks, though. Probably not the best quality but I’m sure it’ll get the job done. My next destination was Etsy, where I found this beautiful vintage python skin bag. A bit of a pricier piece but probably worth it in the long haul.
Next is the dream piece. This Pendleton x Opening Ceremony jacket is almost too good to be true. I feel like in my thrifting successes I’ve given myself the false hope that a jacket like this is going to somehow appear at my local Goodwill. Yeah… right. Sometimes to have the beautiful pieces you want you’ve got to give up the hope and open up the wallet. The price is seriously slashed from it’s original $780 but it’s still out of my price range… for now.
Now these, these might happen. I usually have a damn near impossible time finding items I like on Urban Outfitters. As a last hope I decided to make my final stop in my search for snakeskin on their site and look what I found. If you follow my Pullteeth Tuesdays on Fora you’ll know my misadventures with ladies pants, which is the only reason I’m hesitating with these pants. I might have to crack and just buy them already though. Help me make up my mind?
So weather it’s with a cheap “made in Japan” cellphone case or with a too-good-to-be-true motorcycle jacket from OC, it’s time to unleash the inner snake in us all. SSSSSSSSssssssssseee ya next week!
