Will the real queen bee please stand up?! Competitors /bow down/ because I’m clearly referring to Naomi Campbell: conquistador of the runway and ~Queen of the world~. Since she broke onto the scene at the tender young age of five, the sassy south Londoner hasn’t taken designer knockoffs or “no’s” for an answer. We’ve watched her grow, watched her fall (hey to be fair they were nine-inch mock-crocodile skin platforms), and watched her reclaim her sanity with community service (also while wearing platform shoes). Her image has transformed from a shy, play-it-safer to a Beyoncé-Tina-Turner hybrid, with a minor pit stop as a criminal offender (x 7 …and counting).
