It’s 2016 and Shawn Mendes, Zayn Malik and Drake are the objects of our affection, but before them, the early 2000s had heartthrobs of its own. Who were they and what are they up to now? Keep scrolling!
There’s no greater memory than waking up on Saturday morning as a little kid to a pre-poured bowl of Lucky Charms and a front row seat to all your fave shows.
For us ~Canadian kids~ The Family Channel will ALWAYS hold a special place in our hearts with it’s classic weekend lineup and mix of cartoons and Disney Originals. We’ve collected our favourite oldies along with online episodes STILL available for a mega #TBT. We swear if you put on your Lizzie McGuire PJ’s you’ll be transported back to the early 2000’s!
Sigh, the early 2000’s, where Disney shows were wholesome and thoroughly entertaining. We all know what Hilary Duff and Raven-Symoné have been up to since their departure from Disney, but what about the others? Cookie? Gordo? Cory? CAN YOU HEAR US?

In three short years Lizzie, Gordo, and Miranda taught us more than any textbook or lecture. Sure, we were all somewhat aware that we would never be as cool as Lizzie, (~seriously~ she went to Aaron Carter’s “Party” that one time) but nevertheless, we tried. And now, as our chokers gather dust and out crimping irons start to rust all we have left are engrained life lessons the Lizzie McGuire show taught us all. read more…
