PFW is well underway and it’s no surprise that the people of Paris have made the streets their own cat walk. As a fashion forward city, Paris is no stranger to the chic and trendy looks of the season. Take a look at our round up of our fave street style fashion straight from les routes de Paris!
Fashion Week SZN has officially come to a close (clothes!?), and with the last hurrah taking place in Paris, it certainly ended in style. Perhaps it’s true what they say, that they save the best for last, because we’re having some MAJOR street style envy from all the looks we’ve seen.
After suffering some minor FOMO, we were able to pull ourselves together and collect some of our favourite looks from the streets. Click through for your Paris Fashion Week street style fix!
While we can’t steal the outfits or have the perfect model hair and makeup from the various fashion weeks around the world, there is something from the runways we can keep for ourselves: the playlists!

Okay, listen – we understand that we are not going to love everything that walks down the runway during fashion week. We also understand that a fashion show is an art show and that there are components that go into creating that art that we may not get or comprehend. But what we don’t understand is when the art (aka the clothes) are on point but the styling and beauty distract; and even subtract. Why not just keep the focus on the clothes, you know? read more…
We can’t say were surprised that we had a physical reaction to Manish Arora’s Spring 2012 show. I mean, Nicki Minaj is one of his best clients. So it goes without saying that ‘different’ is his mission statement. However, this time around we weren’t reacting to the clothes at all; it was the crap that was all over the model’s faces. WTF is going on here? read more…
After all that hype it finally happened! Kanye West showed at Paris Fashion Week on Saturday and … meh. The reviews pretty much speak for themselves. The scene was hot and the models were hotter, but the clothes? Well, they didn’t fit and frankly they looked a little sloppy. (Fashionologie)
Another weekend, another glamorous event attended by the Royal Family. This time it was a charity boxing match. Low-cut red gowns seemed to be the dress code; with Pippa baring more skin than usual in a silky red number. However ‘best dressed’ has to go to Beatrice and Eugenie. The sister’s looked (unusually) stylish; KO-ing any other competition. (Mail Online)
Orlando Bloom played the role of doting husband this weekend while his wife, Miranda Kerr, walked in Paris Fashion Week. Seated front row at Dior; Orlandi had no shame snapping pictures right in front of Poppy Delevigne’s face, effectively blocking her view of the runway. Now that’s love. (Popsugar)
Finally, a celebrity fashion line we can get behind. Melissa McCarthy has decided she’s not busy enough being a mother of two and an Emmy-winning actress. So to fill up her remaining spare time McCarthy is adding ‘designer’ to her resume. Teaming up with couturier Daniella Pearl; Melissa intends to design a ‘plus-size’ line that is fashion forward. Good on you girl! (People)
HOARDING ALERT! Step into Anna Sui’s office and tell us you aren’t feeling a little claustrophobic. It looks like it’s only a matter of time before she’s digging a tunnel through millions of file folders to find her desk. It’s a slippery slope; I’m tellin’ ya! (Stylelist)
Adele has released her new video for “Someone Like You” and she has never looked more gorgeous. Depicted roaming around Paris in a chic zippered Moschino coat; our girl looked flawless and fashionable. And that voice! Kill us! (In Style)
Probably the weirdest fashion collaboration I’ve ever heard of. The Wu-Tang Clan and The Gap have teamed up to sell graphic tees to the masses. Because that’s what every soccer-mom expects to find when they go to The Gap to buy their khakis! Wu-Tang Forever! (Refinery 29)
