Everyone knows not to judge a book by it’s cover, but if we ~were~ to judge Much Creator Tasha Leelyn’s look in her latest video, we’d definitely be like “did she do her makeup in the dark or something?”
And we’d pretty much be right.
Tasha recently got together with Katie Kavanagh, a Toronto-based graphic designer, to discuss her winning design for Bioré’s 20th Anniversary Deep Cleansing Pore Strip packaging – and to try their hand at a blindfolded makeup challenge!
New day, new beauty product. As beauty lovers, it seems like we’re always being introduced to the latest and greatest innovations in makeup and skincare–but few products are in for the long haul. But that’s not the case with Bioré! This year, the skincare brand is celebrating the 20th anniversary (that’s right, 20 years!) of their iconic pore strips.
To commemorate the incredible milestone, Bioré enlisted the help of Katie Kavanagh, a recent Humber College grad and Toronto-based graphic designer to create new, limited edition packaging for their Deep Cleansing Pore Strip range. We got the chance to chat with Katie on set at our shoot with Bioré about her inspirations, how she came up with the design, and her favourite pore strip memories. Check out our interview with her—and enter to win your own Bioré prize pack—under the cut!

Shoppers Drug Mart is one of those magical places that ~truly~ is a one-stop shop. You can go in with a shopping list of tampons, birth control, yogurt, bronzer and Gas-X—
AND LEAVE WITH EVERYTHING ON THAT LIST. (plus some Excel Bubblemint gum, just ’cause, y’know)
Much Digital Creator Melissa Merk recently went on a Shoppers Drug Mart ~shopping spree~ where she picked up some newly available products.
We all know ~*it’s what’s on the inside that counts*~ but sometimes pretty packaging can count for something too. If it’s aesthetic enough to earn a spot on your Instagram feed, then we can only hope it’s contents are equally appealing.
No matter your skin type, we rounded up some products that are guaranteed to make your skin and your bathroom counter look ~flawless~

Travel can be a killer on your beauty routine. Airplanes, buses and trains are all extremely stuffy and can dry out your skin (and let’s be honest—you always feel super gross after a few hours stuck in a seat surrounded by strangers).
That’s why when you travel you have to switch up your products and find ones that will keep you *shining bright* even in the dullest airport lighting. So before you head out the door on your next adventure, check out our list of the best beauty products for travelling!

Just when we thought ~spring~ was almost ~sprung~ winter decided “Nah, Imma stay a while longer actually. Hope that’s cool.” And like, no winter, it’s actually not that cool. But w/e okay we’ll deal.
At least we have Much Digital Creator LookUnderHere to show us her fail-proof winter skin care routine to help troubled skin. Check out the full tutorial below!
If your pout is naturally pillow-y, you’re one of the lucky ones. If you’re someone who needs a bit of ~plumping up~ however; say hello to lip masks! The natural, ultra-hydrating skincare step we can’t do without (especially in the dry winter months).
Whether you choose to use a mask at night so you wake up with plush, velvety lips or whether you keep one in your purse for a mid-day moisture boost, plump lips are on everyone’s ~must have~ list. Below are our six favourite lip masks for getting a fuller looking pout.

The art of getting ready is one that we all frantically try to master–time limits aren’t really our ~thing~
But the art of getting UNready…that is an art that we don’t mind taking our time to perfect, because the only place we need to go when we’re done is face-first into a pillowy dream world (also known as our bed).

2014 marked the year that I got seriously acquainted with the ~infinite~ possibilities beauty had to offer – and thus, 2014 was a year of many firsts.
As a girl whose only beauty allies consisted of concealer and pencil eyeliner (a dark Lindsay Lohan inspired time of my life), getting acquainted with new products, styles, and routines was nothing short of life-changing. Some experiments were slightly terrifying (have YOU ever applied a paper mache blackhead strip?) and others proved to be nothing short of exhilarating (a la channeling Emma Stone subtle smoky eye).
Big or small, these beauty trials made 2014 a year for learning, and set the stage for bigger and better looks. Since purchasing my first liquid liner, the gateway beauty product, I AM GAME (and apparently very aggressive) about trying new beauty rituals and setting practical goals for a healthier, gloooowing 2015. WHO’S WITH ME??? HUZZAH! read more…
