Since gym memberships can be way pricey, FORA decided to gather some park friendly workout moves that won’t $et you back. And since we all know the hardest part of working out is actually getting out the door, we’ve made all the moves partner friendly for that extra motivation. So grab your BFF, put on your cutest workout gear and head to the park to try out some of these FORA-fied workouts!
TRICEP BENCH PRESS
•Grasp the edge of a bench with both hands
•Bend your knees and keep a straight back
•Using your arms, dip down– but don’t touch the ground!
PLANK N’ JUMP
•One BFF holds a plank position
•One BFF jumps over the planking BFF’s legs
•Continue for 1 min
•Using a tree for support, slide down until you’re in a seated position
•Keep a straight back and hold for up to 2 mins
•Lay down on your back, feet to feet
•With your arms under your head and abs tight, pedal your feet just like on a bike
•One BFF lays on the ground, feet in the air
•One BFF is the commander in charge, pushing the legs back and forth or side to side
•Do 20-25 in a row
HIGH FIVE SIT-UPS
•Interlock your legs for support
•Sit-up and HIGH FIVE!
•Hold for 1 min
•This works with steps or a low bench
•Hold each lunge and dip- 5 on each side
•This with steps or a low bench
•Squat low on the ground
•Jump up and land on the step (or bench)
•Hop back down and repeat
SWING SET MONKEY CLIMB
•Warning: EXTREME UPPER BODY STRENGTH MANDATORY (aka I couldn’t do this)
•Holding onto swing set poles and using the momentum from your body- climb on up as high as you can!
•Place both legs on a swing and come to a plank position
•Keep your abs tight and pull your legs in
•Repeat 20/25 times
•Using a tree for support, come into a plank position
•Hold for up to 2 mins
