Remember when we said Osheaga was our last hurrah of festival season? Well, like the claims “one size fits all” and “frozen yogurt tastes the same as ice cream”, we lied. FORA’s headed to Time Festival tomorrow–here’s who we’re excited to see.
The 23-year-old Toronto native is making space for himself in the increasingly crowded rap scene in The 6ix. He’s been compared to Drizzy himself, but the comparison is invited as Lanez is a huge Drake fan. (But then again, who isn’t?)

Mac already has two full-length albums and a Polaris Music Prize nomination to his name. His latest release, an EP titled Another One is sensitive, chill and hazy.

This lovable east coaster is best known for his remixes and sampling. He also studied journalism back home in Halifax (so maybe if the music thing doesn’t pan out, he can work with us at FORA?).
Set time: 4:55 p.m.
This Montrealer makes party-starting jams. He moved from a small town in Quebec to downtown Montreal for the skate scene. Ultimately, it was skateboarding that led him to hip-hop and rap.
Set time: 1:35 p.m.
This Toronto band is fresh to the scene–they don’t even have an EP out yet. But the tracks they have released are dreamy and shimmering.
