pil·low talk: noun; intimate conversation in bed. Usually held around cute and comfy pillows.
(we may have added in that last part)
With PiLlOwT4lK being such a hot topic right now, we thought it was only fitting that our latest DIY be pillow related. Also, donuts.
So climb on board, we’ll go slow…with this donut pillow DIY.
Here’s everything you’ll need:
- Metallic Fabric
- White Fabric
- Felt (for the sprinkles)
- Scissors, Needle & Thread
- Hot Glue & Glue Gun
- Pillow Stuffing
Draw two large circles on the reverse side of the metallic fabric, and cut them out.
Using the white fabric, cut out the “FROSTING” circle, using the donut circles to make sure the frosting fits inside. Draw an inner donut circle on the reverse side of the metallic fabric.
Cut out the inner circle and sew together along the outer edges (not the inside circle!) on the reverse side. Flip inside out and either SEW or HOT GLUE the “FROSTING” circle onto the donut. Both techniques work super well!
Cut out sprinkles from the felt and hot glue them onto the frosting fabric
Sew the inner circle leaving a small opening to stuff the pillow- and stuff away!
Once you’re done stuffing, glue the inside circle shut!
WARNING: DONUT try to eat the final product
