Klaxon Howl’s Matt Robinson presented a refreshingly nearly-noir-free spring / summer collection at Toronto Fashion Week on Wednesday.
Denim on denim, army green on army green, contrasting bright whites on dark pants, and occasional doses of mustard and coral-y (albeit, masculine) red kept the collection visually stimulating and well-rounded.
Undeniably rugged, the pieces could clothe essentially any man – retro-fashionable-businessmen, urban-tweed-sporting-profs, self-rolled-cigarette-smoking long-haired coffee-shop-dwellers, and the like.
Given the collection’s reach to each end of the man-style spectrum – all in all, it proved impressively cohesive.
